Wordpress Site Can't redirect http to https through htaccess

I have a wordpress site, and after installing SSL certificate through godaddy, I tried to follow godaddy's instruction for redirecting http to https by modifying htaccess file (https://uk.godaddy.com/help/redirect-http-to-https-automatically-8828)

However, after doing so, my website stops working.

Error:

This site can’t be reached

unquenchablewanderlust.com took too long to respond.

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

The website doesn't work after reversing the changes either.

Error:

unquenchablewanderlust.com’s server DNS address could not be found.

ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

I can't access to neither http, https version, nor my backend for several days already. How should I fix this?

Getting Started

Your domain name is pointing to 50.63.202.10. Is this managed by GoDaddy or someone else?

My domain, hosting (Economy Linux hosting with cPanel) and SSL certificate are all purchased from and managed by Godaddy.

Judging by the error message, it's a .htaccess issue. Do you have a backup of your .htaccess file?
