"Not Secure"

Dear Community Experts,

I have a website made with Wordpress and hosted through Godaddy.

Suddenly Google says that my web site is infected virus and hosting was not available since then.

I can see my website at Wordpress with "Not secure" rather than "https://".

I purchased SSL cerification from Godadyy and is alive.

I also can see lots of Wordpress and plug-in updates. However, my web managment company does not recommand to performing updates.

From where can I fix this issues and make hosting my website working? I do not know where to start.

Thank you for your help in advance.

BRGDS,

Stephen

So I have NEVER heard of someone managing a WordPress site saying not to update - except in extremely rare instances where there is some specific custom functionality that will break with new versions

1) If Google is flagging the site as infected - I suggest installing WordFence and running running a scan - it will hopefully pick up any script / files which have been modified

2) After you've cleaned the site you need to submit to google via the search console (Google Webmaster tools)

3) I would make sure you get a good backup of the site and see about upgrading all the plugins / themes etc as otherwise your site could be compromised again.
