Did you mean:

Display SQL database results from user input

I'm trying to figure out how to do two things:

1.  Populate a dropdown box from a data field in mySQL database table.

2.  Display the records from the database that match based upon the selection in the above dropdown box.

Hi @rob0225, thanks for posting.

What you described would require some custom PHP scripting. I apologize but I'm not familiar enough with PHP to offer any examples, but perhaps another community member would be able to offer some suggestions or examples.

@rob0225 - are you comfortable with PHP programming and the WordPress framework? If not, as @GaryA mentioned, you'll probably need to hire a WordPress developer to do some custom programming.

However perhaps there is a plugin that could do whatever it is you're trying to do. Could you provide a bit more detail about exactly what it is you're trying to accomplish?
