I have problems with 2 of my 4 Wordpress sites, hosted on Godaddy.

All was working fine before I left on vacation 4 weeks ago.

However, since I got back I am no longer able to login to 2 of my sites, namely and

Both sites appear to be up and running normally, but I am no longer able to login to the Admin panel. When I attempt to do so, I receive the following error:

The page isn’t working redirected you too many times.

Try clearing your cookies.

After researching online, I have tried several solutions in an attempt to fix the problem. These include:

  • Disabling all plugins
  • Clearing browser data and deleting cookies
  • Reverting to a standard theme
  • Trying different browsers
  • Checking file permissions are correct
  • Re-installing the site from previous backups

Unfortunately, nothing has worked. I still cannot access the Admin Panel.

Any help would be appreciated. As I said previously, I had made no changes to my sites prior to this problem.

Hey @JerryLee,

I've seen some mentions of this error commonly being due to misconfiguration with any redirect tools in use on a WordPress site (core or plug-ins included). If you've already tried temporarily disabling plugins with the same results, then the issue may likely be core related.

I found a tutorial here with additional troubleshooting suggestions that may help. Beyond that, you could try reaching out to our live support so our hosting team can help investigate the account further.
