How do I update my administrator email address

At General Settings, I'm trying to update my Administration Email Address. Currently, it has something like this:

domain@somecharacters.prod.sin3.secureserver.net

 

I've entered my email address but I see the notification below:

There is a pending change of the admin email to <myadd@mail.com>

You should have received an email with a link to confirm that - sometimes these go to spam.

 

You could also go into phpMyAdmin (the database interface) and manually update the email address in the wp-options table
