Import posts from another site

My organization is replacing a GoDaddy hosted WP site with a Managed WP site. The new (Managed) site has been created and we have been adding pages. We want to copy all of the blog posts from the old site to the new site. I used Tools/Export and selected Posts from the options. In the new site, I selected Tools/Import and selected the downloaded export file. The import appeared to be successful; however, there is something wrong. A number of categories were added which is great, and when I click View in the Blogs/Categories list, the content can be displayed which is also great. So I know the content was imported. When I view Blogs/All blogs the newly imported content is not included in the list. In the old site, the Dashboard item says "Posts" and in the new site it says "Blogs." Not sure if this is a problem. What else needs to be done so the content is added to the list?

Thanks for your offer to assist. It turned out to be a settings issue which we have resolved.

This maybe a configuration of the theme you are using and you maybe seeing a filtered list or just a specific category.

Etiquette When Asking for Help from the Community

Thanks for the speedy response. I don't see any active filters in the Blogs display. I even tried filtering for one of the new categories, but the list was empty. Any other ideas?
