Everything was working fine until this morning. It's a new site and the only 2 plugins I have right now are Yoast and Mailchimp so I don't think it has anything to do with my theme or plugins.
I set up my email with NameCheap (where my domain is) and the customer service guy at GoDaddy added a bunch of records to my DNS settings (MX and CNAME, etc.) and said that it should be working, which it's not.
Re: Managed WordPress website not showing (either white page or generic parking site)
The domain is resolving correctly to the GoDaddy servers. So this isn't something that has anything to do with the DNS setup.
The 4XX series of HTTP error codes is directly related to a client side change. 404 is the most well-known HTTP status code out there. The browser returns a 404 HTML pagewhen the server doesn’t find anything on the requested location.
There are two main scenarios that can result in a 404Not Foundpage. Either the visitormistyped the URL, or thepermalink structure of the site has been changedand the incoming links point to pages that were moved to different locations. 404 error pages sometimes can appear on top level URLs too. It usually happenswhen a site has recently moved to another web serverand theDNS still points to the old location. This kind of problem usually disappears after a short time.
It's also possible that perhaps you may have malware. I highly doubt that since it's a new site but I would run a malware scan as soon as possible to determine if that's the cause. 404's can also be generated when an injection script tries to change the redirection of the URL.
