New to Wordpress - please help. Changed URL in wordpress and now cannot access wp or cpanel

I would very much appreciate some step by step help.  I am very new to the web and so muddle through making many mistakes along the way.

I have a site http://www.catlitterreview.com

I logged into wordpress this morning - (and through a bad decision based on something I thought I knew about) amended (in settings/general) the URLs to https://www.catlitterreview.com and I saved the changes.

I now cannot log in to wordpress to revert the URLs back.

I googled the problem and came back with a few solutions; one being accessing File Manager in cpanel (I was using this youtube tutorial to assist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzhFJAXj2yA) - but I cannot log in to cpanel either.  It says 'the login is invalid'.  I have another separate website which I can access, and logged in to cpanel for that and switched to the problem website, but when I select 'File Manager' it requests I log in again and get the invalid message again.

I am stuck and would really appreciate some assistance.

Huge thanks

Hi, @nbrown99. Welcome to GoDaddy Community!

As @justingodfrey mentioned, it looks like you've gotten this figured out. If you can, please update here with what you did to resolve the issue. Others could benefit from your experience. Thanks!

In these cases, the best option is to use PHPMyadmin.

This can be accessed from the hosting panel in godaddy for your domain.

Once in, PHPmyadmin gives you database access so you can change the HTTPs config back to HTTP.

You locate the database for your site and then change the wp_options table.   Within this table you will have records/entries for the following which should be changed.

- site

- urlhome

That should it.

Good luck

Thanks very much theBroonster.  The problem is now resolved.

That's great news! Also, if the suggestion @theBroonster made worked then please mark it as a solution. Robot Happy
