WP Blog Page - Edit

Good morning from PA.  I have a multi-part WP site/blog question.

I began building my site a few days ago.  I am using Ashe template.  The template has a page for a blog.  I wanted to embed my current blog at https://theclaylife.com/  WP would not let me embed this link, which is also WP.  I then tried one of my entries at https://theclaylife.com/making-him-matter/ and this link seemed to work.  Previous to this embedding I was able to edit the design of the page (pics, blocks, etc.)  After this, I am only able to edit the page in the actual WP screen.  I cannot locate the pics or anything off of the Ashe template.  I can view preview the website but when I click "edit page" it takes me back to the WP page area.

Questions:

How can I now edit the page?  Can I revert this change?

Is there a way to embed a blog feed into the current website?  I plan to combine my sites in the future.

Thank you!

UTH-Cat

I am confused by your question -

You have a website theclaylife.com - Are you building a new website and want to know how to link the 2 of them??

Re: WP Blog Page - Edit/?isc=gdcommment

Sorry I was having a hard time explaining.

I want to know why I can no longer edit my blog page in the new website I am building. I also want to know how to embed the old blog (clay life) into the new blog page on the new website.

Thanks!

I’m sorry... Yes, it is another WP site. It is still under the WP assigned URL.

Will this email allow for screenshots?

@UTH-Cat

1) Yes you can post screen shots

2) You can export the content from theclaylife.com using the WordPress Export function and then import it into your new site - you can select the entire site or just portions like just the posts

3) I don't see any reason you shouldn't be able to "link to" theclaylife.com

Please let me know what other questions you might have
