WP as a sub-domain?

I have a site I am using as a portfolio. I hand-coded the html for the main site. I'd like to add a sub-domain showing my Wordpress skills. Is this possible? If so, how? I would assume I somehow install Wordpress to that specific folder? Does my theme need to be installed there as well. I feel like I should be able to do this on my own but I am drawing a complete blank on how to do it as a sub-domain. All help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: WP as a sub-domain?

Hello @skyacraper614!

Thank you for posting. You would need to have a hosting plan that's deluxe or higher that allows you to host multiple domains. Then you could create a subdomain and add it to your hosting account with it's own dedicated root folder. You would then just need to install WordPress to that root.
