    how do i create a staging site prior to upgrading to PHP7?

    My WP site needs to be upgraded to PHP7 however I would like to test the upgrade on a staging site. Is this possible with Godaddy?

    Since you didn't mention what hosting you are on...

     

    You have to be on Managed WordPress hosting, Deluxe or Ultimate packages, or Pro Managed WordPress which include a staging site.

     

    If you are not on a managed platform, you can use the PHP Compatibility Checker plugin.
