Re: maximum file upload size

Hi, @famarinu. Welcome to GoDaddy Community!

You can usually increase your upload limit by adding or modifying the PHP initialization file for the site. You would do so by adding the following code to such a file:

upload_max_filesize = 8M

Take a look at this article for information on what your initialization file should be named in order for it to take effect. Hope that helps.

Re: maximum file upload size

How do I do this for on IIS .NET hosted website?

Ive tried below to increase upload file from my website size to 30MB but website still complains when I try to upload anything over the default 4MB limit any suggestions?

<security>
<!--
The default maximum upload file size is limited to 4MB by ASP.NET. Additionally, IIS 7+ limits the request size to 30MB.
This section increases the allowed request size for IIS 7 in the requestFiltering section
-->
<requestFiltering>
<!-- The content length is in bytes (MAX SIZE=30MB) -->
<requestLimits maxAllowedContentLength="31457280" />
</requestFiltering>
</security>
