optimize WordPress max_input_var

I keep receiving an error message that says,

"You need to increase PHP variable max_input_vars to a higher value."

I've done a lot of searching on this and have tried adding (there was no file to update) my user.ini file, .htaccess file, php5.ini and so on. Obviously to no luck.

Looking for a little help to get this setup and setup properly.

Some added info:

I have 3 wordpress websites, each with their own domain in their own folder.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Rich

Hi @rwolff

Welcome to GoDaddy Community!

This should definitely be possible. The way you would do this depends on what kind of hosting you have. First, take a look at this article to determine what you should name your file. Then, make sure you've followed the suggestions listed here regarding making the changes take effect in your account. If the change still isn't taking effect after following these steps, then I suggest reaching out to our support team so they can dig into what's happening.

Anyone else in the community have insight into what's going on? Your comments are welcome!
