Hope you have a great time.
Is there any way that I can use the godaddy purchase api for testing and development without a tight engagement with credit cards? Just for testing if we can send request and receive expected response when purchasing domain.
Anyone can help?
I love your 'management speak' when referring to "tight engagement with credit cards"......You must be very well practised in that kind of description!! Well I don't love it really as I'm sure this deciphers into "we don't want to register a credit card, but yet want to purchase domains using your API on our website....."
Because........ You can TEST all the API's......... just NOT making actual purchases on your site without credit card.............. even if you do say it's just for test purposes. In that case GoDaddy would like to test your credit card!! Seems fair enough........
I don't think that is about to happen soon but you can have a long and interesting chat here:
thank you for the response, it was my mistake on saying that question, but it was on my mind if I am going to purchase your site using the api (https://developer.godaddy.com/doc#!/_v1_domains/purchase), does it credit to the registered credit card from the payment method? and in here this is a kind of related from the registered account from the payment method of the shopper right? if i can get 200 response with the api call using the test key and test secret key, what will happen in there?
I think the best people to explain it are support, or read carefully the documentation as any answer I give will, of course, be a pure repetition of those same documents. Please RTM, or contact support;
