    Regarding Server suspended issue

    My VPS server got suspended yesterday. After contacting the support I get to know that due to content abuse the server got suspended. I have contacted the Content Complaints Team in order to know why or what is the exact reason as I had around 100+ hostings in it.

    They have replied that they have taken action under GoDaddy Universal Terms of Service section 5. They have also mentioned that the server cannot be reactivated and will remain suspended until its expiration date.
    My question will be how can I get the backup of my server? I have asked the same to the Content Complaints and waiting for their reply.
    In the meantime is there anyone who can help me with this issue. My major concern is "how to get backup of my server?"

    If you don't already have a backup of your server (you should ALWAYS maintain a local copy of your backup for this reason exactly), then the answer is you most likely won't get one. The copy that GD maintains is for emergency recovery only and if it contains something that is against their user agreement, they won't restore it most likely.

     

    I would suggest calling in and talking calmly with a customer service agent to see if they can assist you in figuring out a way to help you. However, they have to follow the rules of the company so you should keep that in mind.

    Welcome to the Community.

    Unfortunately, no one in the Community forum can release a suspended server for backing up content. While there are various reasons that a server may be suspended (all involving a breach of the Terms of Service, as you've been advised), there are various actions provided to you by the support team to resolve the issue. 

     

    If you have received an email concerning the suspension, please follow the instructions it provides to assist you. If there was no email sent, please contact support for the email address you can use in order to seek resolution. That email may be to "verifypayment@", "contentcomplaints@", "spam@", or some other specific department that can help get your server back online. Please check with the GoDaddy support team at one of the numbers in the link below and they can advise you of your next steps.

    Thanks ... Been trying to do that but no customer service agent has option to provide me the backup files ... My mistake is that I haven't taken the backup at regular intervals.

    But If I have been informed before by Godaddy before suspending the server then I won't be facing such trouble right now.

    Yes, I am communicating with contentcomplaints@... But the problem is they have replied to my first email within 12 hours but since then it's almost 72 hours and they haven't reply me back even after sending 3 more emails...
    I wish they would have warned me once before the suspension .. as my actions were unintentional.
