    Online Store Drop down Menu

    Ok, here is my dilemma... I am wondering if there is a way, (and if so how to do it) to add a drop down menu on my front page in the header (like where I have about us, terms, privacy policy, etc.) of my store so I can list categories.  Now, I realize the categories are listed on the left hand side when I pull my product up....just looking for a way to add them again so customers don't have to go all over my site to look for them.  I tried to add them and it worked sorta - unfortunately it opened the url in a different window when I would click on them.  Not what I want...I want them to go directly to that page.

    Any help is appreciated.

    There is a really good help page on navigation menus @iamstuck. Check out Customize your navigation menus from the Website Builder 7 Help. I haven't really seen a drop down menu option but certainly you should be able to have a your navigation menu appear on every page of your website. From the navigation item you can click More you can select Show on all pages to make sure your navigation bar appears on each page.

    For the product specific categories you create you can maybe a </> HTML Code section? I don't know if it works but some code light below might work for you?

    <select name="menu1" id="menu1">
    <option value="_self"="http://www.espn.com">ESPN</option>
    <option value="_self"="http://www.cnn.com">CNN</option>
    <option value="_self"="http://www.abcnews.com">ABC</option>
    <option value="_self"="http://www.cbsnews.com">CBS</option>
    <option value="_blank"="http://www.foxnews.com">FOX</option>
    <script type="text/javascript">
     var urlmenu = document.getElementById( 'menu1' );
     urlmenu.onchange = function() {
          window.open( this.options[ this.selectedIndex ].value );

    Does that help at all? Please come back and let us know.

    Website Builder 7 and GoCentral don't allow HTML code. It was available in older products, but not anymore.

    Good news @Hopeful, Website Builder 7 does allow you to add HTML code to your website. Check out Add HTML code to page from the Website Builder 7 Help. I don't know if the code I posted above will work perfectly but I tried it out (kinda) in the HTML editor before I posted it. I hope that helps?
