    Trying to connect a registration form with Paypal payment

    My site is used for a car club and it includes show/event registrations.  I have been able to create the form for people to fill out for the registration but I can't find a way to include the paypal payment as part of the registration process.  People need to fill out the form and then return to the registration page and choose the paypal button to make the payment.  Surprisingly many people skip that step.  Is there any way to create a form with information along with the ability to make the paypal payment?  I have been looking at this for months and can't figure it out.

    Thanks

    There are several ways to do this depending on how your site is setup. If using Wordpress you can use Gravity Forms and some HTML to add Paypal support. Use the Link below instructions.

    http://www.organizedthemes.com/paypal-registration-forms/

    Here is a sample code taken directly from that site.

    <form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">

        <input name="cmd" type="hidden" value="_xclick" />
        <input name="business" type="hidden" value="me@myemail.com" />
        <input name="return" type="hidden" value="n=http://www.yoursite.com/registration-paid" />
        <input name="item_name" type="hidden" value="Registration Fee" />
        <input name="amount" type="hidden" value="20" />

        <a href="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_xclick&amp;business=me@myemail.com&amp;currency_code=USD&amp;amount=20&amp;return=http://www.yoursite.com/registration-paid&amp;item_name=Registration+Fee" target="paypal">Pay and register here.</a>

    </form>

    You can also go to Paypal, .navigate to "Merchant Services" and then to "Create Payment Button for Your Website," create the button that you need and it will generate the code. Copy the code from the Paypal site and paste it to the form on your site.

    The forms allow you to send the user to a link at the end of the process but the Paypal.me link is not working.  I don't have a plan that allows me to edit the HTML code and the site is not written with Wordpress.

    Any idea why a paypal.me link would not work?
