Uploaded HTML files, but still getting "Future home of something quite cool."

Hi, I'm having some troubles getting my website published. I am using cPanel hosting for the site. I uploaded the zip file with all my HTML/CSS files in them under the public_html folder. I go to my site and see "Future Home of Something Quite Cool". Nothing's changed and I have absolutely no idea what I did wrong. Any help?

    @asdfasdf123asdf,

Your hosting looks for certain file names in order as far as what it shows to someone visiting your domain. The future home page is probably still in your public_html folder with a name higher on the list  (or perhaps actually on the list).

The case sensitive list in order for cPanel is:

    index.html.var
    index.htm
    index.html
    index.shtml
    index.xhtml
    index.wml
    index.perl
    index.pl
    index.plx
    index.ppl
    index.cgi
    index.js
    index.jp
    index.php4
    index.php3
    index.php
    index.phtml
    default.htm
    default.html
    home.htm
    index.php5
    Default.html
    Default.htm
    home.html
