How to downgrade PHP version

Hello,

We have a Joomla based website hosted on GoDaddy. We had purchased a Joomla template to design the website. Recently we had messages on the Joomla admin page that we had to upgrade to PHP 7.4 (from PHP 7.2) for some of the components to work properly. However, after the upgrade, we have a message appearing on the website :

"Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/kgmkrljstu99/public_html/plugins/system/bluejoomla/core/wp_shortcodes.php".

Since we do not get any support from the developer of the template anymore, we would like to downgrade back to PHP 7.2 (just FYI, we had taken a backup before the upgrade and tried to restore it, but the error remains). Is there an option to revert back to a previous version of PHP? Thanks in advance.

When you are in cPanel where you can adjust the PHP version you should be able to just select the lower version again.
