Security, Wordpress and Cpanel

I'm trying to do some hardening on my wordpress, the first thing that i would like to do is protect my wp-admin, i tryied to do this with directory privacy in cpanel, but when i activated it i can't access to my wp-admin.

The browser say that there are many redirect.

What i wrong? There is another method for doing this?

There's a plugin for that!  Check out Wordfence Security.  The free plugin is pretty solid but you can upgrade for additional features and hardening.   😉

Wordfence has nothing to do with cPanel -- it's a WordPress plugin.

Sucuri and Wordfence are similar but different -- depending on what level of protection you pay for -- or not.

You would have to do a comparison of the services offered by Sucuri (or GoDaddy) and Wordfence (free or Premium) to make your decision.   Either plugin will work based on your original request of wanting to protect your WordPress dashboard. 😉
