Server IP address could not be found error on a subdomain

I went through quite a few posts on the subject of "server IP address could not be found" error but couldn't find a solution that works for me, so posting it as a new thread.

I created a subdomain on my cpanel and installed Wordpress. When I access the subdomain URL, I get this "server IP address could not be found" error. However I can access Wordpress admin site on the same subdomain.

Subdomain: http://malikaarts.invertedmushrooms.com/

Wordpress: http://malikaarts.invertedmushrooms.com/wp-admin

I had installed Wordpress on http://malikaarts.invertedmushrooms.com. However it is constantly being redirected to http://www.malikaarts.invertedmushrooms.com. I am not sure if this is the cause of the problem. There are no redirections set up for this subdomain. The Wordpress admin seems to work fine on http://www.malikaarts... without redirecting itself.

The are correct DNS records (my main domain and all other subdomains work just fine). The DNS lookup provides the same IP address for this subdomain as the one listed in DNS Manager.

What should I be checking and fixing for this to work?

1) I would check the Database for WordPress to see if it has the www in for the homeurl in the options table

2) You could also add a DNS entry for the www.subdomain then it should be good to go

I have tried deleting and re-installing Wordpress from the Cpanel. The wp-admin seems to be working fine. Not sure what database I should check. I am perhaps an basic to intermediate user of Cpanel so would need slightly more handholding about what to check where.

The subdomain DNS entry already exists but no luck.

The easiest solution is going to be to setup a DNS record for www.malikaarts.invertedmushrooms.com

There maybe some underlying htaccess settings trying to force the www
