Unused posts and pages

I've had a web site for some time now and it is getting cluttered. I have both posts and pages that are not used.

Is there a way I can determine that a post or page is safe to delete without going through every screen?

@bruccutler I assume you are in WordPress, right?

What do you mean by 'safe to delete'?

Yes - Wordpress

Re: Unused posts and pages

Safe to delete meaning that the page is not referenced by a menu somewhere.

Since I'm a newby to these forums, if I've posted in the wrong topic, please inform...

Re: Unused posts and pages

@bruccutler You can check in Appearance > Menus, and see what pages you have in menus. You can delete from menus, and still have the pages posted just in case you need to add them again to menu.

Hope it helps!

Re: Unused posts and pages

Thanks. I already figured that out. I was just wondering if there is an easier way. It appears there isn't an easier way.

Re: Unused posts and pages

@bruccutler Well, it's easier to remove pages from the menu, than to have to navigate your entire site and check if a page is being linked from every menu section.

Hope it helps!
