Hello,
GoDaddy's old grid hosting or 4GH hosting with GoDaddy uses multiple server to host our website so it is protected with redundancy.
However the latest GoDaddy cpanel hosting did not provide any information whether cpanel hosting have multiple/redundant server.
Do you have any information on that?
Thank you,
Sony
Typically unless you are using a VPN it does not matter if you are on a secure shared-hosting service like GoDaddy. Standard GoDaddy hosting services offer shared hosting to make their services affordable for small businesses.
an immediate downfall for shared-hosting is server downtime during DDOS attacks or server failure.

If you give me your server IP i would be more than happy to trace a packet route to see how your server is hosted.
Thanks Richard for your reply.
I'm just curious if the cpanel hosting uses multiple server to host the site as it would be more resistant to DDOS.
Do you have any idea if cpanel hosting used multiple server?
Hi @sony_lin.
The cPanel hosting offered by GoDaddy is hosted on a single server. However, it is based on CloudLinux and is very hardy. GoDaddy also uses network level security, outside of the individual hosting servers, to protect against DDOS and other attacks.
More info on CloudLinux can be found here:
