Helper I certificate expiring?

I'm getting emails from 1 of our VPS boxes stating that: "The SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate for -service-name- on -hostname- will expire in less than 30 days."

I'm getting one of these for each of the cpan, dovecot, ftp, and exim services.

The body of the messages says (the IP address is fake just for this post)

The certificate has the following properties:
Key Size: 2048
Expires: Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 4:22:04 PM UTC
You need to install a new certificate as soon as possible. You can do this with WHM’s “Manage Service SSL Certificates” interface at....

I thought that the default cert on VPSs was supplied by GoDaddy and we wouldn't have to worry about it... No?

If I visit the cpanel "manage certs" page and view the details for the cert, it shows as self signed. Can I simply click the "Reset Certificate" link and self sign a cert for the local hostname?

Any advice appreciated.

Helper I

In case someone else has this issue.. It looks like the default certificate is indeed self signed (not a wildcard certificate for * and it's perfectly fine to reset it with another self signed certificate for your current hostname.
