I am selling workshop manuals and to list I need to be able to list say "Passenger Vehicle" as the main category, then use sub categories for the "Make" (Ford) & the the"Model" (F100), that uses a total of 3 categories to list that item I have the base level Ebay Store that allows 300 categories and have been able to list over 500 line items and not use up all the categories. So with the limit of 25 categories, I was only able to list 8 line items before I got to the limit. So the product is totally lacking up against the Ebay Store, Where is the logic in their actions to impose a limit of 25. The previous store you were allowed 1000 categories, so how do you upgrade a program, reduce the amount of products you can sell and charge more money for the privilige

I downloaded the 1st trail about 3 weeks ago, and is the only one that is available from your site. I have just spent another 30-45 minutes onto your help line trying to sort this out and still have the same outcome. How can you previously offer a program with 1000 catagories, upgrade the program and then only offer 25 catagories and ask for more money for less product. It just beggars belief that a supposedly industry leader can offer an upgraded program with so much less available content and expect the end user to pay more for the privilige. I have a basic Ebay Shop that I pay $19.95AUD for and get 300 catagories. You are asking $43.95 for 25. Where is the value or worth with your product up against the Ebay Shop Even someone who does not use all the catagories to start with, will be unable to grow their store because of the lack of scope you are giving the end user to list further product due to the restrictions you are enforcing. Also nowhere in your product details does it state there is a limitation with the amount of catagories over your previous product, which in itself is misleading. As I said previously I was very happy with the product until I came up against the lack of catagories. How your supposed "Developers and Higher Team of Staff" (as refered to by your help line) can come up with such a dumb idea to restrict the amount of products the end user can add to their store is just beyond comprehension Who would buy a product that will not allow you to sell your products. If you find some, they should not be in business

If you are using the latest VNext system, beware as you may only be able to add 25 separate category's, I started using the trial version and when I got to 25, the add category button turns off and you can add no more unless you delete one of the original. I was told that was due to the trial, so I fully subscribed and still had the same problem. Could not get a straight answer from GODaddy help lines. Some said it was only 25, some said 1000, so I cancelled the trial version and the full version as I could not get a concrete answer. Still looking for something I can use. The product itself was great and just what I wanted, but cannot list products with only 25 category's If you go to the top of the page, click on category's, that is where you start adding them. Is simple to do, but I am selling Automotive Manuals, so I need to use 3 category's to list items I had Passenger Vehicles as a main header, to which I added the franchise as the 1st sub category and then the model as the 2nd sub category. By doing that is uses 3 category's out of the 25. So by the time I had got to use up the 25 supposedly only allowed. I was only able to add about 8 models. I have a basic Ebay shop that gives you 300 category's but so far, have not used all of the category's. In saying that, I have been able to list over 500 line items so far using their system. I cannot get an answer as to whey there is only 25 category's or whether in fact that information is correct, that was why I cancelled the subscription

I am trying to find out how many category's can be added to these stores. I have not really been able to get a straight answer on the help line.
I took the trial package and when I got to 25 category's the add category button was disabled. I was told by one person that if I sign up for the full package, it will be enabled
Signed up and still no button enabled. Tried help line again, and and was this time told, that only 25 category's allowed in the new store. In the previous packge, you could get upto 1000 categorys, I tried that one out of desperation, but was no where near as good as the new version.
so van anyone out there who is using the latest VNext Online Store tell me how many categorys you can enter.
Better still is there anyone out there from GoDaddy that knows about the new VNext Online Store, that can let me know once and for all how many category's I can have in that package.
The package itself was just what I was after, but no way is there enough category's to be able to build my store with only 25 available.
My basic Ebay store that I pay a lot less for (than the $43.99 per month you are charging), allows me 300 categorys, so that is the minimum I would be looking for.

I need to ask this question, so hope someone can give me a concrete answer. Last week I trialed the VNext Online Shop Package and was super happy with the product. It was easy to build the site and add products to it. Looked good when it was live and as far as I got with it, all was good. Only problem is with the Categories Section, and the amount that can be added. It only allows you to list 25 as a maximum. After that it disables the "Add" button and no more can be added. Can anyone give me an answer why the previous package was offered with 1000 categories and this one only 25 I tried the previous package as a last resort, but was not a patch on their new product. I did sped a lot of time on to the help lines, but no one could really give me the info I needed. Some said you got the 1000 and others said not, so in the end I just cancelled the subscription as I could not get any 100% answers on what I needed to know. It is a shame, as the product itself is perfect for anyone who wants a basic online store, subscriptions are on a month to month basis and if you do not like it, you just stop the payments yourself in you account settings. Can anyone out there give me any sort of information in regard to this problem.
