This Pollinator Week our mission is to protect a small, but very important species: the bee.
The world's busy little bees contribute a whopping $577 billion to our crop production.* We rely on them, along with other pollinators, for a third of our food.
But each of the last ten years, we've lost 30% of our hives.* And right now, one in four wild bee species in the U.S. is at risk of extinction, thanks to pesticides, GMOs, climate change, the loss of habitat and more. Humans have created these problems, so now it's up to us to make a change.
