Behind the scenes at GoDaddy TechFest

Hosting to Hadoop

What do you get when you put more than 1,300 Web designers, developers, architects and other technical rock stars in a desert oasis? The 7th annual GoDaddy TechFest. Our company’s always-eagerly-anticipated geek extravaganza was held June 12-13 at the beautiful JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa.

This was my first TechFest, and I was blown away by both the breadth and depth of the presentations. From hosting to Hadoop, Jenkins to JavaScript, APIs to TDD, my colleagues and I got to choose our favorite topics from a tech smorgasbord of nearly 100 sessions. The event also featured inspiring keynotes, great demonstrations and conversations with a number of our key partners.

But enough of my yakkin’. Whattaya say? Let’s take a look behind the scenes at TechFest.
