GoCentral keeps getting both more powerful and easier to use! Here are the latest and greatest features.

Checkout improvements and more ways to pay

With this update, shoppers will enjoy a faster checkout experience on your website. Plus, you can offer more ways to pay online — often making the checkout process even faster. Depending on the customer’s device and browser, they may be able to pay with a saved credit card or a digital wallet like Apple Pay or Google Pay. This is in addition to existing options like credit cards, PayPal and custom payment methods.

The details:

  • Apple Pay is available as a payment type if you use Square or Stripe for your GoCentral payment processing. (Apple Pay would be offered to shoppers using Safari on Apple iOS/Mac devices.)
  • Google Pay is available as a payment type if you use Stripe for your payment processing. (Google Pay would be available to shoppers using mobile Chrome on Android devices.)
  • Credit Cards saved on browsers are available as a payment type if you use Stripe for payment processing. (Saved cards would be available to shoppers on desktop browsers like Chrome.) If no saved credit card is found on the browser, the shopper would go through the typical credit card checkout process. The browser may prompt the shopper to save the credit card details to save time in the future.
