|Custom Nameserver Requirements|
Nameserver updates can take up to 5 days to complete.
1 Renewal Restrictions
Auto-renewal is attempted 12 days prior to the domain name's expiration date. If the renewal attempt fails, we re-attempt renewal 7 days later and again 6 days after that, the day before expiration.
If we cannot auto-renew the domain name and you do not manually renew it by the day before expiration, it must be redeemed. There might be a fee for the redemption. The domain will stay active after failed billings until the final day of expiration.
2 Transfers To Restrictions
The transfer does not extend the registration a year.
3 Transfers Away Requirements
To transfer your .ch domain to another registrar, you must submit the transfer with the gaining registrar, who will require the registrant to provide an authorization code. Please contact our award-winning GoDaddy Guides to request the authorization code.
4 Contact Update Requirements
To change the registrant information on your .ch domain name (first name, last name or organization/company name), please contact our support department. All other contact information can be changed through the Domain Manager. See Change my domain contact information for information on making these changes.
