Add payment methods to your GoDaddy account

Required: To add a credit, debit, gift, or prepaid card as a payment method for your account, you must already have at least one non-expired, paid product in your account (free trials don't count). Otherwise, you may see an error message like: "You missed some required information..."

You can add a credit, debit, gift, or prepaid card or a bank account to your GoDaddy account for buying or renewing products.

Note: You can't add PayPal by following these steps, but when you use PayPal to buy a product, it's automatically added to your payment methods.

  1. Log in to your GoDaddy account.
  2. Click this icon in the upper-right corner:

  3. Click Account Settings.
    click account settings
  4. Click Payment Methods.
  5. Click Add Payment Method and then select Credit/Debit/Prepaid Card, Checking Account, or Gift Card.
  6. Complete the fields. Fields marked with a red asterisk ("*") are required.
