Connect GoDaddy Conversations to my website

Respond directly to customers who send you messages from your website by connecting the GoDaddy Conversations mobile app to Websites + Marketing. There are a few ways to get the GoDaddy Conversations app:

Required: Before you can use GoDaddy Conversations, you need to be a U.S. Websites + Marketing customer on the Premium or eCommerce plan.

Note: At this time, GoDaddy Conversations is only available on Apple iPhones.

Websites + Marketing Dashboard

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Scroll to Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to the website you want to change.
  3. Click Conversations in the header of your website.
  4. Enter your mobile phone number.
  5. Click Text me the download link to receive a text message with a link to the GoDaddy Conversations mobile app.

  6. Tap the link to download and install the GoDaddy Conversations app.
  7. Open GoDaddy Conversations.
  8. Sign in to your GoDaddy account that's associated with your Premium or eCommerce plan.
  9. Follow the prompts to complete your setup.

Website Builder

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Scroll to Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to the website you want to change.
  3. Select Website at the top of the website builder, and then select Messaging.

  4. Confirm Enable Website Messaging is on.
    Tap Text button
  5. Click Learn More under Conversations Mobile App.
    Tap Text button
  6. Enter your 10-digit U.S. mobile number.
  7. Click Text me the download link to get started.
    Tap Text button
  8. On your mobile phone, tap the link to download GoDaddy Conversations app.
  9. Open GoDaddy Conversations and sign in to your GoDaddy account.
  10. Follow the prompts to complete your setup.

App Store

  1. Open the App Store from your iPhone.
  2. Search for GoDaddy Conversations.
  3. Tap Download.
  4. Open GoDaddy Conversations.
  5. Sign in to your GoDaddy account.
  6. Follow the prompts to complete your setup.

Enable Website Messaging

  1. Once you're signed in, select the website and tap Continue.
    Tap Text button
  2. Tap Continue on the Website Messaging page.
  3. Tap Enable and Publish.
    Tap Text button
  4. Set up any additional channels you would like to use.
