Websites + Marketing Help

Download pictures from Photo Albums

When you transition your site from Website Builder version 6 to Websites + Marketing, all of the pictures in your site’s photo album are automatically transferred.

However, you may have pictures in other standalone Photo Album accounts that you’d like to download and then add to your Websites + Marketing image gallery. These steps are similar to downloading other files (such as PDFs, documents, etc.) that you may want to move to your Websites + Marketing site.

How to determine a picture’s source

These steps help you determine which images are in your Website Builder version 6 site and which are in a standalone Photo Album and need to be manually downloaded.

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Scroll to Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your website to open your site.

Note: Once you initiate transition, your site is called Websites + Marketing followed by your plan name (e.g., Websites + Marketing Standard). Previously, your site contained Website Builder in your plan name title (e.g., Business Plus Website Builder) However, your site URL remains the same.

  3. Select Edit Website to open the new website builder.
  4. Select the Website Builder menu in the upper left, then select Website Builder V6. This will open your old site editor in a new tab.
  5. Select Upload Files at the bottom.
  6. Select the Images tab.
  7. Select one of the options in the Account drop-down menu.
    • If the account name is the same as your site, then the images in those galleries are automatically migrated to Websites + Marketing. You don’t need to take any additional action.
    • Images in all other accounts are in standalone Photo Albums and will need to be manually downloaded.

Download pictures from your standalone Photo Album

Download photos from your standalone Photo Albums individually or as a group.

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Scroll to the Photo Album section and select it to expand it. Then select Manage next to your Photo Album.
  3. In your standalone Photo Album, select the gallery you wish to download photos from.
  4. Download photos individually or as a group.
    • Download photos individually: Select Download under each image you want to download.
    • Download photos as a group: Select Manage. Place check marks by the photos that you wish to download. From the Apply this action drop-down box, select Download Photos. Select Go to download your photos.
  5. Once you have all your images, add your images to your new Websites + Marketing site.
