Get a Business Call + Texting number

Step 2 of the Set up GoDaddy Conversations and connect with customers series

As a GoDaddy Websites + Marketing Premium, Commerce or Commerce Plus customer, you can set up a dedicated business phone number to connect with customers through text messages and calls, using GoDaddy Conversations.

Note: Calling and texting is only available to GoDaddy Websites + Marketing Premium, Commerce or Commerce Plus customers with U.S. phone numbers.

To set up your Business Call + Texting number you’ll need to download and install the GoDaddy Conversations mobile app.

  1. Sign in to your GoDaddy Conversations mobile app.
  2. Scroll to Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to the website for which you want to enable chat.
  3. In the lower-right corner, tap Account.
    Select Chat
  4. Under Business Calling & Texting, tap Add Number.
    Select Chat
  5. Enter the 3-digit U.S. area code of the city or region where you do business.
  6. Tap the phone number you want to use.
  7. Tap Connect to finalize your selection.
  8. On the Account page, you'll see your new business phone Number.

The first time customers visit your website they’ll be asked to accept cookies. If they accept, the chatbot will show and they’ll be able to get in touch with you anytime.
