Remove an SMTP relay restriction

As a security measure, SMTP relay restrictions occur when there's suspicious activity from a mailbox. If you get an SMTP relay restriction, we recommend securing your devices and changing your password. Use a device you know is clean to change your Workspace Email password.

  1. Sign in to your Workspace Control Center. Use your GoDaddy username and password (your Workspace Email address and password won't work here).
  2. Under User Name, select the email address.
  3. Enter your new password in Change Password and Confirm Password.
  4. Select Save.

Once your password is changed, it's a good practice to scan the potentially infected device for any viruses or malware.
