Restore from manual cPanel backup

  1. From the cPanel home page, click Backup.
  2. In the Restore a Home Directory Backup area, click Browse, and then select the backup TAR file on your local machine.
  3. Click Upload.

How long the upload takes depends on the size of the site you're restoring. Once the restore completes, a page displaying all of the files that were restored displays.
