Take ownership of your Google My Business account page
GoCentral allows you to create a Google My Business account that displays your business's hours, phone number, and location in Google Search and Maps results. This service is only available for GoCentral Business Plus and eCommerce customers within the United States.
Once your Google My Business account is reviewed and accepted, GoCentral will monitor your account and provide you with stats on your reviews, search traffic, and make suggestions on how to enhance your online presence. As the business owner you should be the primary owner of your Google My Business account. GoCentral will act as a manager of your listing, keep it updated and monitor your reviews.
To have the GoCentral team transfer ownership to you, send us an email following these steps.
- In your email's From field, enter the email address associated with the GoCentral account.
- In your To field, enter: GD-GMBfirstname.lastname@example.org.
- In your Subject field, enter: Google My Business Ownership Request.
- In the email's Body field, enter:
"Please add the following email addresses as an Owner of the page created by GoCentral for [Business Name Associated with GoCentral Account] [your Shopper ID]:[email address to be added]."
- Send the email.
Please allow 72 hours for our team to process your request. Once it’s been processed, an invitation email from Google will be sent to the requested email address. The invitation must be accepted before you can take ownership of your Google My Business account page.
