Upload a voicemail recording
If you have a professional recording that you would like to use for your greeting, you can upload an MP3 or WAV file from your computer.
- Go to your GoDaddy product page.
- Scroll to SmartLine Phone Services and select Manage
- Click Greetings & Notifications to expand the Voicemail section.
- Click Change Greeting.
- Click inside Choose a file field to open the upload window.
- Select the MP3 or WAV file you would like to upload as your greeting.
- Click Open.
- Click Upload to save your recording.
- Once the recording is uploaded, a green banner will confirm the upload was successful.
- To listen to your new recording, return to the Voicemail section and click Play.
