# Streamlining Cloud Compliance at GoDaddy Using CDK Aspects

At GoDaddy, we invest in ways for developers to ship quickly while meeting strict cloud governance. We are pleased to highlight an article by Senior Software Engineer Jasdeep Singh Bhalla. He explains how CDK Aspects use the Visitor pattern to inspect and adjust constructs during the CDK preparation phase—before templates are synthesized—so organization-wide rules (encryption, logging, tagging, IAM checks, and more) apply consistently. The post contrasts deployment-time validation with CloudFormation Hooks and shows how GoDaddy packages Aspects through a shared wrapper stack so teams inherit compliance without boilerplate.
