Option to move domain away from GoDaddy disabled - why?

I'm trying to move a domain name away from GoDaddy but the option to do so is disabled and I have no idea why this is the case. Can anyone shed any light on why this has been restricted? It's a .co.uk domain name that I am transferring away for consolidation purposes.

Re: Option to move domain away from GoDaddy disabled - why?

Transfers with .uk work a little different from other registries.

You'll need to get a code, called an IPS Tag, from the gaining registrar where you plan to transfer the domain.  First initiate the transfer on their end, then contact GoDaddy support directly so they can prepare the domain for transfer.
