GoDaddy - REFUND POLICY

We know refund policies can feel overwhelming at times. This page helps you understand whether your product can be refunded, how long you have to request a refund, and what might prevent one.

1. Refunds at a Glance

Products can be cancelled at any time, but refunds are only issued if requested within the applicable refund period, which is measured from the Date of Purchase.

“Date of Purchase”, for the purposes of this refund policy, means the date of initial purchase of any product or service from GoDaddy.com, LLC and/or any of its affiliates and specifically excludes the date on which the renewal of such product or service offering is processed by GoDaddy.com, LLC and/or its affiliates.

Most products follow the standard refund windows in Section 2. Products with special rules, exceptions, or conditions are listed in Section 3.

For the purposes of clarity, GoDaddy does not offer refunds on renewals (manual or auto-renewal), unless expressly stated otherwise in section 3 below or unless a refund is required to be provided upon renewal as per applicable law.

Please note:

  • Refunds must be requested before your account is closed. Once an account is closed, refunds are no longer available, even if the product would otherwise qualify.
  • Brazilian customers may request refunds for eligible products only within 7 days (168 hours) from the Date of the Purchase, as required by local law.

If you’re unsure whether your purchase qualifies for a refund, contact GoDaddy Customer Care before closing your account. Our team can help explain your options based on your product, timing, and usage.

2. Standard Refund Window

The refund windows below apply unless a product-specific exception in Section 3 applies.

Monthly plans include any term shorter than 1 year (for example, 3, 6 or 9 months).

3. Product Specific Exceptions

The tables below outline exceptions to the standard refund window for certain products or plans, along with any additional conditions based on usage, activation, work performed, or registry requirements that affect whether a refund will be granted.

Marketing Services PremiumFor Monthly / Quarterly / Half-Yearly plans:Refundable within 48 hours of the Date of Purchase and only if no work has been performed during such 48-hour period.
SEO ServicesFor Monthly/Semi-Annual/Annual plans:Full refund if cancellation of a plan is requested within 48 hours of the Date of Purchase.

For plans cancelled after 48 hours of the Date of Purchase, refunds may be processed as follows:
Monthly:No refund
Semi-Annual:No refund for the current month + 50% refund on all remaining unused months
Annual:No refund for the current month + 50% refund on all remaining unused months

Commerce Services

Assisted ServiceNo refund of any fee paid for the initial three months after initial purchase or renewal. Refundable thereafter.
Commerce ServiceSubscriptions:
  • Annual plans: Refundable within 30 days of initial purchase or renewal
  • Monthly plans: Refundable within 48 hours of initial purchase or renewal.
POS hardware products:
If you're not fully satisfied with your product, you can return it within 30 days of shipment. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, with the original packaging slip enclosed, and your refund will be issued once we receive the return. We'll cover the cost of return shipping and refund your full purchase price back to your original payment method. Please ensure all hardware accessories and documentation included in the original package are returned. Please note that only products purchased directly from GoDaddy can be returned to us — if you purchased through one of our authorised retail partners, their return or refund policy will apply.
Commerce Website Support ServiceRefundable if cancelled within 30 days from the date of initial purchase or renewal; 30% cancellation fee payable if unused; 70% cancellation fee if less than 50% used; non-refundable if more than 50% is used.

Monthly Plans that give you AI Credits are refundable within 48 hours of the Date of Purchase as long as no AI Credits given as part of the plan have been consumed, otherwise the subscription becomes non-refundable.

The above refund policy applies to all services which use AI Credits, including but not limited to Airo™ AI Builder and other AI Services.
GoDaddy Airo™ All AccessRefundable within 7 days (168 hours) of the Date of Purchase, except the 12-week offer which is non-refundable.
GoDaddy Airo™ PlusRefundable within 7 days (168 hours) of the Date of Purchase, unless generated content has been accessed or downloaded, after which the subscription becomes non-refundable.
Office Max BundlesAlways non-refundable.

Website & Design Services

Logo DesignLogo Design services are eligible for a refund only if cancelled within 48 hours of the Date of Purchase; cancellations made after this period are non-refundable.
Website Build ServicesRefunds may be processed, subject to the following: 30% cancellation fee when in progress; 70% cancellation fee when design delivered for review. Non-refundable after first revision or after 30 days from the Date of Purchase.

Once performance has begun, web service design is considered completed 180 days (4320 hours) from the Date of Purchase and will not be eligible for a refund thereafter.
Website Care & Marketing ServicesRefundable unless the plan has been used or services have been performed. Usage includes completed requests or bundled website design delivery.
Website Makeover ServicesRefundable, subject to the following: 30% cancellation fee when in progress; 70% cancellation fee when design delivered; non-refundable once complete.
