How does a POS system work?
POS systems usually consist of hardware and software. The POS hardware is the physical device that accepts the payment. The POS software is what processes the payment and enables the business to complete the sales transaction.

What kind of accessories or peripherals are compatible with the GoDaddy POS System?
The dual-screen Smart Terminal Duo includes a docking station that enables you to connect other accessories such as printers, cash drawers, and barcode scanners.
The single-screen Smart Terminal Flex can connect with printers and a cash drawer via network connections. Both the Smart Terminal Duo and Smart Terminal Flex also have a built in printer and barcode scanner.
The Smart Terminal Pro includes an accessory hub for you to connect receipt printers, cash drawers, and barcode scanners via USB, Bluetooth, or network connections.

How long does it take for funds to appear in my bank account?
For transactions that are processed on a business day before 5 PM Pacific Time, the funds will appear the next business day. If the transactions are processed on a business day after 5 PM PT, the funds will appear in 2+ days. Transactions processed on a Friday will not appear until after the weekend.
Can I take payments without POS hardware equipment?
If you want to start without any hardware, you can download the GoDaddy Mobile App on your smartphone and use it as a mobile POS system to take card payments.
How long does it take for the POS system to ship?
Your POS comes with free, 2-day shipping. After your POS order has been approved, we’ll ship out the device that same day if the order is received prior to 12:30PM PT on a business day so you receive it in 2 business days. If the order is received after 12:30PM PT, or on a weekend, it’ll ship out the next business day. For example, if the order is received before 12:30PM PT on a Tuesday, we’ll send it out that day, so you’ll receive the device by Thursday afternoon. If you place an order on a Saturday, we’ll ship it out Monday, so you’ll receive it by Wednesday afternoon.
How do I use a credit card terminal?
To use a credit card terminal, you first need to ensure its powered on and connected to a data source or Wi-Fi network. GoDaddy Smart Terminals come with POS software preinstalled so you can get started immediately. You can accept payment in various ways using the chip, magstripe, or tap (NFC-enabled) mechanisms of the customer's card.

Do I need a receipt printer with my Smart Terminal Pro?
