Websites + Marketing Help

Connect my online store to Facebook and Instagram

Connect your Websites + Marketing online store to the Facebook sales channel to automatically sync your product catalog with your Meta catalog. Adding and removing products in your online store will also add and remove them from your Facebook catalog.

Note:
  • Meta now sends shoppers to the seller's website to complete their purchase instead of letting them check out on Facebook or Instagram. We're working on adding support for this. Until then, you can connect and sync your catalog, but shoppers can't buy from your Facebook or Instagram shop, and Meta keeps the shop hidden.
  • Facebook and Instagram marketplace is currently only available to customers in the United States. In other countries, connect your online store to Facebook and Instagram within Facebook Shops or Commerce Manager.
  • You'll need a Websites + Marketing Commerce plan to get an online store (compare plans and pricing).
  • If you've connected your Websites + Marketing website to Facebook and Instagram to share social posts, you still need to connect to the Facebook sales channel to sync your store's product catalog.
  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Scroll down, expand Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your site.
  3. On your dashboard, expand Store, and then select Marketplaces.
Note: If you don't see this option, it's most likely because marketplace integration is not yet available in your region.
  4. Select Add New Channel, and from the list, select Facebook & Instagram.
  5. Select Connect to Facebook.
  6. Enter the domain of the website with the catalog you want to sync, for example, https://www.coolexample.com.
  7. Select Connect Your Account, and then sign in to your Facebook account (or create a new account).
  8. Follow the steps to open your shop, create your Meta Business Portfolio, give permission for GoDaddy to connect to your Facebook account and select which page you want to connect.

Once you're connected, you'll see Facebook among your connected sales channels, and your online store catalog will begin to sync with your Facebook catalog.

It may take some time for your Facebook page to be added and for all your products to upload. Check your status in Sales Channels by selecting Manage next to the connected Facebook sales channel.

Remember, your online store and Facebook catalogs are linked. Adding and removing products from your online store will also add and remove them from Facebook and Instagram.
