Cancel Godaddy account

If I close my account early, would I get a refund for the year I did not use? Also, if leaving GoDaddy to go to another provider, will I lose my website content?

Are you having a laugh?  GoDaddy customer support is none existent!  no one answers the phone? 24/7 help? hardly?  GoDaddy is also sending unrequested invoices for services not required?. a contact support email direct to accounts team could be implemented to ease frustration users suffer while attempting to contact GoDaddy via phone.

Support contact is the area this company is currently tripping up on, only having a phone number is very restrictive.
