    Can I use my existing domain name on Godaddy as a freebie for also buying hosting here?

    I have a domain name on Godaddy for the last 5 years.
    Now I want to switch hosting also on Godaddy. On the checkout page I can choose a free domain name with the 1yr hosting plan I have chosen. Can I get my existing domain free instead?

    @gchatzim I don't think so. It says it's for new registrations only, so I guess you can't renew your domain as free domain.
