SSL Auto-renew

Our website's SSL auto-renewed with GoDaddy. Do I have to update the code on the server or does it remain the same? Thanks

Re: SSL Auto-renew

Okay, so the update is that when an SSL is renewed by GoDaddy, and the site is hosted elsewhere, then download the new certificate and apply it at the site's server. Auto-renew is more like auto-purchase, and the certification's application is up to you.

Re: SSL Auto-renew

Just got a new message from GoDaddy that my SSL setting is in auto-renewal mode. It's the shame that I am unhappy with the SSL service form GoDaddy because it is not working with all functions in addon domains. I bought 5 domains with godaddy and my travel agency a website all function is not working properly as I found some error [ ERR_TLS_CERT_ALTNAME_INVALID ]  checking from other SEO checking sites. So, i am still not sure whether i renew SSL with GoDaddy or not.

Re: SSL Auto-renew

Hi @Ammar-Guni,

Welcome to the Community!

No one in this forum can advise you as to whether or not you should renew the certificate. They are mostly volunteers, end-users like you that are not able to access your account to review the actions you are trying to take on the SSL - with respect to the domains.

What type of certificate do you have? Is it a Standard SSL, or a UCC Certificate. If you are looking to secure add-on domains in your account, and are having trouble securing them as SANs, this article may assist you.
