    Why can't I upgrade from shared hosting to vps hosting? If I can, how?

    @jleescro 

     

    The shared hosting (cPanel) and VPS hosting are 2 different platforms.

     

    You would have to purchase the new server and migrated the files between the servers and update your DNS to point to the name server. GoDaddy does have some paid professional services if this is something you need further assistance with if you are not comfortable with the technical aspects.
