Help with image link using custom html

    Hi.

I have created a website for an author and in the 'Books' page, I have used a custom html container to list images of their books (only 1 for now) with a href tag to the book's amazon listing and no matter what website I put in there, once I have published the site and refreshed it and clicked on the book image, it comes up with a grey box and the words 'refused to connect' after which ever site I have used.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you in advance.

    Damien

You can post the code and/or a link to the page for review.

Click the </> to post code.

Re: Help with image link using custom html

    The site in question here.

The code I have used to set up the image and the link is this:

    <a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/Perfectly-Autistic-Diagnostic-Harmonious-Connections-ebook/dp/B07VGY6HMG/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=perfectly+autistic&qid=1564240028&s=gateway&sr=8-1"><img src="https://i.imgur.com/nXx3oX5.png" title="source: imgur.com" height="350"/></a>

I don't know if this has anything to do with the SSL certificate?

Re: Help with image link using custom html

The way HTML sections are added to the page you'll need to set a target on links (_top for same window or _blank for new window).

    <a target="_top" href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/Perfectly-Autistic-Diagnostic-Harmonious-Connections-ebook/dp/B07VGY6HMG/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=perfectly+autistic&amp;qid=1564240028&amp;s=gateway&amp;sr=8-1"><img src="https://i.imgur.com/nXx3oX5.png" title="source: imgur.com" height="350"></a>

    That is hugely helpful.

    Thank you so much!
