    New Changes to Community Ranks

    Hi all,

    We want to let you know that we’ll be changing the GoDaddy Community ranks over the next couple of days. Ranks reflect your activity level in the GoDaddy Community forums.


    We’ve had feedback from some of our community members that the names of our ranks are confusing and that it’s not clear what the next rank is and what criteria is needed to get to the next rank.


    You’ll find a rank next to your Community user name.

    The New rank is automatically earned when you register in the Community and sign in. You’ll climb up the ranks by completing activities, like creating a post, giving or receiving likes, replying to posts and having your reply accepted as a solution. The difficulty to obtain a rank increases the higher you go.


    Here’s the new rank structure:




    Like before, we won’t be revealing the ranking formula (it's a secret!), but we will award great activity levels and encourage active participation. And good news, your current activity level will be transferred over to the new rank structure.


    Remember: Participating in the GoDaddy Community is a great way to share your knowledge and expertise by helping others and getting to know other GoDaddy Community members. Please don’t forget to give someone a like if you think their reply was really helpful, interesting, well written or just great!!


    Update: As part of our Super User program, we've added a set of ranks to recognize those who are participating. These are Super User I, Super User II, and Super User III. These ranks will supersede any that the user had previously. Each year as the program begins again, the user will go back to the rank they had previously and be able to earn the ranks again.
