What can I do with images in Airo AI Builder
Getting your images right is an important part of building your app or website, and Airo AI Builder gives you several ways to do it. Here's what to know before you start.

Can I use my own photos on my app?
Yes. In chat, select + Add, attach an image file from your device, and then tell Airo AI Builder where to place it. You can also select 
Edit to replace an existing image directly in the editor. For detailed instructions, follow the steps to add, generate or replace images in Airo AI Builder.
Can I add a video to my app?
Yes. Use + Add in the chat, and then upload a video from your device, or ask Airo AI Builder to find a stock video for you.
Can I add my logo?
Yes. Upload your logo in chat by selecting + Add, attaching your logo file, and then asking Airo AI Builder to use the image as a logo in the header. For best results, use a .png file with a transparent background.
If you don't have a logo yet, ask Airo AI Builder to help you create one.
Can Airo AI Builder find a stock image for me?
Yes. Ask Airo AI Builder to find and insert a stock photo, for example, "Add a professional photo of a coffee shop to my hero section." Stock images come from Getty Images.
Do image, logo or video changes use AI credits?
Any request made through chat uses AI credits. This includes adding an image, logo or video from your device, generating an image with AI and sourcing a stock photo.
If you don't want to use AI credits, use Edit to manually replace an existing image, logo or video, without using AI.
Are there file size or format limits for image uploads?
Use common formats like .jpg, .png or .webp for the best compatibility. The maximum file size you can upload is 25 MB. If an upload fails, try a different file format or a smaller size.
Does Airo AI Builder keep my images?
It depends on how you use them:
- Images you add to your app or site are saved to Airo AI Builder, whether you add them through chat or manually. You'll find them again by selecting Media below the chat. Here your images are organized by page and you can reuse, swap or modify them.
- Images you attach to chat for reference (for example, to show a style or color you like) are not added to your app or site and are therefore not kept in a media library you can browse later. If you want an image to appear in your media library, ask Airo AI Builder to place it on your app or site.
