Generate a privacy policy and/or terms of use with Airo AI Builder

Ask Airo AI Builder to generate a privacy policy and/or terms of use page for your app or site. Airo writes the document, adds it as a page on your site and links to it from your site's footer.

Note:
  • Airo AI Builder generates a general privacy policy using US-specific templates. It doesn't cover General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or other region-specific privacy laws.
  • Generating a document may use credits, depending on your plan, and costs are shown beforehand. Editing an existing document doesn't use credits.
  1. Go to your Airo AI Builder apps page and then select your app or site.
  2. In the chat, ask Airo to "add a privacy policy" or "add a terms of use page."
  3. Answer the questions Airo AI Builder asks so it can write the document.
    • For a privacy policy, this includes your business name, the email address you want used for legal matters and whether your site collects information from children under 13.
    • For terms of use, this includes your business name, your domain name, the US state you or your business is located in and whether your business sells to minors under 18.
    Airo AI Builder generates the page and adds a link to it in your site's footer.
  4. To make a change afterward, like updating your business name, email or state, use the chat to ask Airo AI Builder to update it. Alternatively, make those changes directly in the canvas.
    Note: Because these documents use legally compliant templates, you can only change the information used to fill them in; you can’t edit the text itself.
  5. To generate a new version from scratch, ask Airo to regenerate the document.
